Tres Amigos Sportscards
Like any kid born in the mid 1980's I had a sports card collection, fueled by a love for baseball and a Dad who loved to find deals. After a couple decades away from the hobby I found my childhood collection and fell in love again. Tres Amigos Sportscards was formed in 2024 with a commitment to operating with integrity and giving back to the hobby community. We buy, sell, trade and consign, offering both buyers and sellers value and a variety of paths to market.
My Story
Why Tres Amigos?
When I was signing up for instagram years ago I needed a name. At the time it was just me and my two corgis, Hulk and Ace, and I liked the sound of TresAmigos. A few years later I met my wife Becky and Cuatro Amigos just didn't have the same ring to it so I kept the name.
I found my childhood collection in 2020 and wanted to try to do something fun with it. Being mostly junk wax I knew value would be low, so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a resin kit as well as some other craft pieces to try to make some kind of art from my cards. I never got that far. I found out they were putting jersey relics in player cards and I was on the hunt for new cards.
As my collection grew I knew I needed to find a way to sell. I turned to reddit, twitter/x, and ebay as my platforms of choice. My mom had an ebay store years ago and starting to sell shortly after she passed left me with an activity that reminded me of her so much. Every package I ship is packed with the same love and care she packed all of her packages with.
I still sell on X, Instagram, and eBay! I am also starting to branch out to more card shows and community events.
